a gigantic continent
exhibiting
the curves
of the ravines
spreading
the long tender ranges
like splitting lips
exposing
the warmth, moist and the softness
within

volputous mountains
exploding from
the body
inviting playfulness
with fingers of lava running
hardening
in the steamy tropical heat

slender limbs
reaching out
like the Ganges, Yangzte
and Mekong
meandering through nations
stretching
the soft supple skin
with dimples of lakes
formed in the middle
watering
the jungles
that cover here and there
emanating
a volcanic eruption
of hot sweaty
sweet fragrance of
jasmine and sandalwood.

round and round
like an apsara

hissing songs of freedom
into the mike
her melody
spread vibes through the speakers
making the body
limber
boneless
causing it to shake wantonly
to the rhythms

spitting potent words of love
full of vigor
in high pitch
made the heart
skip a beat
and flutter
in pure ectasy

dancing to the flute
singing songs of freedom
